Well, Idle-Hour Ranch is just the place for you.  If you love animals, Idle Hour Ranch is definitely the perfect experience for you and your family, or for groups of all ages. Unlike a zoo, IHR allows you to get up close & personal with the animals. Interact with & see over 200 animals including Camels, River Otters, Kangaroo, Wallabies, Cougar, Zebu, Llamas, Alpaca, Reindeer, Nilgai, Yak, Wolves, Cavies, Horses, farm animals and many, many more!  You’ll want to check out our newest attractions – the North American River Otter Exhibit, & the Farm Market.

This family owned and operated agricultural/animal sanctuary is dedicated to providing a fun, relaxed atmosphere where guests of all ages can be educated about wildlife, agriculture and the overall importance of wildlife and farmland conservation.   And, of course, the local “residents” will capture your hearts.   IHR’s Mini Farm Market and Agricultural Tourism activities will be open most Saturdays and Sundays from 12 pm to 6 pm. Now open to the public, 12 pm – 6 pm on weekends, June through October.   Other times by appointment only.
