The barn is a large wood frame barn originally used as a milk barn when the Knoop family ran their dairy business. Still owned by the Knoop family today, it is now used to house the heifers along with storage of hay and straw. The Knoop family purchased the farm and moved there in 1943, but do not know when the barn itself was built.
Travel east from Piqua on Rt. 36. Burr Oak-New Hope Rd. intersects Rt. 36 east of Fletcher. Turn south (right), travel ½ mile, barn is on west side of road. Can be viewed from the road or in the barnyard.
